What lands on your desk

Devices

Phones, laptops, tablets. Setup, lockdown, and what to actually do in the first ten minutes after one goes missing.

Accounts & Access

Passwords, two-factor, and a recovery plan that works when you’ve lost the phone that holds all your codes.

Backup & Recovery

The thing everybody agrees is important and nobody has actually tested. We’re going to test yours.

Networks

The router, the wifi, and the small-office setup that whoever came before you never wrote down.

End of Life

Wiping, selling, donating, and what to do about the machine that stopped getting security updates two years ago and still runs payroll.

Nobody asked. I checked anyway.

I spent two decades in tech support and device management — mobile fleets, company laptops, the whole managed-device circus. Before that, the Navy.

Nobody asked me to check whether your phone would hand over your bank app to a stranger who found it on a bar stool. I checked anyway. That’s most of what happens here.

I’m not selling you managed services and I’m not trying to scare you into anything. Half the security advice online is theater. I’ll tell you which half.
